"Being creative and putting ideas into action are the key parts of my success as a graphic artist; however, the most exciting aspect is having the opportunity to travel. My experiences inspire me to express myself with passion and creativity."
DIANE FAVORITO
With a background in fine art and over 30 years of experience and achievements in the multimedia industry, Diane Favorito is committed to providing her clients with a unique combination of creative visual media and high-end digital technology. Known for her attention to detail and her dedication to her clients' success, Diane Favorito has worked professionally as a Computer Graphic Artist in the multimedia industry for over thirty years. Her experience, professionalism and loyalty has been crucial to the success of her long-standing relationships with her clients and colleagues in a fast-changing medium. After completing a Fine Art Degree in 1986 at Montclair State University in New Jersey, Diane got off to a fast start in the multimedia business by accepting a position at NYNEX Computer Services in Pearl River, New York. Her earliest design projects, interactive information-based kiosks, were placed throughout highly-visible areas of Georgia, New Jersey and New York (including Times Square, The Jacob Javits Center and Ellis Island). In 1988, Diane honed her creative talent by completing the Computer Animation Program at Pratt University, New York, one of the nation's top design schools.
Excited about learning new media, but bothered by the creative and technical limitations of working for a large corporation, Diane accepted her first freelance project in 1989 at Sony Corporation of America. Accountable for promoting the company’s latest technical advances, she designed and created visuals for Sony’s National Consumer Sales Meetings. Two years later, having built an outstanding rapport with Sony, Diane was designing for many of their conferences, some of which were broadcast worldwide.
In 1992, Diane co-founded Perfect Image in Nyack, New York. Dedicated to providing audiences with an unforgettable audiovisual experience, Perfect Image found their niche in the industry by producing totally seamless hi-resolution video walls. One of the company's first projects took them to England, Germany, and Italy for Kellogg's European Annual Sales Meeting, in which all AV elements were available in eight languages. Other milestones include projects for The National Football League and The Walt Disney Company, the latter of which received an Innovation Award by the Association of Multi Image in 1993. A highly recognized and innovative production company, Perfect Image, was also featured in "Dataton News & Views", an international industry magazine.
Today, Diane continues her worldwide affiliation and education in the design and multimedia industry. She works closely with her clients to provide them with solutions for dynamic business multimedia presentations and unforgettable events. Her client list includes major players in the corporate world and her long-standing colleagues are among the best in this industry.
With a generous spirit and a passion for art and photography, Diane has donated her time by teaching Art to elementary and middle school children. Hats off to the many students she has met over the years, who bravely shared their instincts, visions and explorations. Their freedom of expression and perceptive imagery is reflected in their art and is an inspiration to her. Their work has given her new insight into Picasso's often quoted remark, "It took me years to paint like Raphael but it has taken me my whole life to learn to draw like a child".
